HOW TO ADOPT A PUPPY
First of all I want to congratulate you and thank you for your interest in purchasing one of our Cockapoo or Shih-Poo puppies. I can assure you that you are getting a quality Cockapoo or Shih-Poo puppy for a lifetime of companionship and happiness.
In order to adopt a puppy, I will ask you to fill out a short application to best meet your requests like color, gender, size, coat type, etc. The waiting list is on a first come first serve basis and I don’t require a deposit to be placed on the list for now. Only serious inquires please.
The waiting list application can be obtained by clicking on the "WAITING LIST APPLICATION" tab below or by calling us and requesting one by mail. Please don't get discouraged if you find out that there are many people on the waiting list. Many people either have changed their minds or found a puppy elsewhere by the time the puppies are born. Out of 10 people on the list, maybe 2-4 will actually place a deposit when a puppy is available to them. Therefore, your chances are always good that a puppy will be available for you.
As soon as any of my dogs have puppies, I will contact you with what is available. If you decide to get a puppy from this litter, I will then require you to sign and return a deposit contract, and place a non-refundable deposit of $200 to hold your pup. Please respond promptly since there are many people on the list waiting for your response. BE ADVISED THAT I WILL ONLY CONTACT YOU BY E-MAIL WHEN PUPPIES ARE AVAILABLE. IF I DON'T GET A RESPONSE BY E-MAIL OR PHONE CALL BY THE 3RD DAY, YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE WAITING LIST.
The deposit will be then applied to the balance of the price of your puppy. If you are having your puppy shipped, the remaining balance will need to be paid by the 6th week of the puppy’s age. For those who are not having a puppy shipped, you may pay the balance at pick up time.
We will evaluate each prospective owner’s situation and try to determine the best outcome for all concerned.
We reserve the right to NOT sell our puppies to anyone if we do not feel it will be in the puppy’s best interest.
